I'm just admiring their great deal on 8 watches in exchange for that £4,939.92 I've got knocking about down the back of the sofa.

Only caught a glimpse of that as bored with him and his dramatics.
Anyway I heard him say something like buy all for £5000 and in so doing you save £20,000 (or similar).
Sounds a good deal! Just wondering what to do with the 20grand? A cruise maybe..I could retire if I buy all their stock with the money I’m saving.

Does IW put this money into your bank account or am I a little confused by this seemingly not to be missed offer?

My understanding is that they are using the same system of selling on this channel as they do on TJC, they just don't show the bit where they plummet their laughable starting price to something perhaps more sensible. That, by their 'logic', makes it an 'auction'.

Mike-of-the-Masons was cured of Policeman's Heel by Emu Balm.
Foghorn swears by all manner of potions but seems to be constantly unwell.
The other night, Torchy was saying his hair was being saved by some gadget.

They bank on some people believing/hoping their vague claims have some truth about them.
People in pain and discomfort go looking for cures and they're happy to exploit that.

Whenever an IW presenter states you’re saving e.g £20 off an £100 item so it’ll cost you £80. I shout at the tv “no, I’m saving £80 cos I’m not buying your tat”
