Am I watching Antiques Roadshow? Those clocks!
I saw the intro. This one was very different to what he usually does. The upbeat music was replaced with a more laid back theme.Feltham? Very probably – as he is doing his intro.
Dad has phoned numerous times, says it’s raining in Paris. No issues in London. Pouring with rain first thing this morning but stopped now, just looks a bit grim out there. Glad all is well in Bristol
StartingI think Peter is starting to look haggard. So much for collagen.
Or you could have pressed the alarm,Just walked a large golden retriever on playing fields in Beeston. Near to being blown over. If only I could’ve had one of those wonderful plastic canes to help balance me.
Afternoon all, hope everyone keeping okay in the strong winds. Just had to see those clocks so watched on the YouTube feed. Christ, they had hideous. Even my mum and dad who are 80 and 75 wouldn’t want those clocks. Talk about cheap and nasty. Pedro spouting about the palace of Versailles??? Spouting guff as usual. He does see a bit subdued thoughThose clocks….They would be considered old hat in a 1950s’ mortician’s waiting room.
I know what you mean. Nobody wants mahogany furniture any more, you can’t even give it away. Mum and Dad had a G-Plan mahogany dining table they couldn’t get rid of and Dad ended up turning it into a coffee table (gave him a project to do ) and then ended up at the tipIt would’ve been bad enough if they were made of wood. But from what I could see of them they look like they’re made of some sort of resin material. I remember a similar clock I took down to the tip when my mum died in 2007.
Steptoe and Sons lock-upYou wonder where they send old Charley looking for this shyte?
