Why does the ludicrous buffoon persist in calling a fixed price sale with no bidders an auction?

Seriously. Why does Morgan refer to items for sale as auctions? There is no logic whatsoever to his thinking. Is he just stupid, and doesn’t know what an auction is? Or does he think by calling an item on a non-negotiable price sales basis an ‘auction’ - somehow people will think they are getting better value? Or is it just to create comment on the forum he never reads?

I'm going with thick as pig sh*t.

His explanation for low Dechump prices on IW is a classic. You know Dechump use IW for promotion of their brand instead of paying £15,000 - £20,000 for an influencer or few hundred thousand on adverts.

So lets look at his argument.

IW get great prices from Dechump to get their name out into the market place, save advertising costs.

So Dechump sacrifice, on average £1000 per watch by selling on IW as against their own web site, some are slightly less and some are more like the Grand mont ceramic which was £1700, but £1000 does for easy counting.

In the last 12 of months, we've had at least 13 different Dechump watch ranges/models on IW (some more than once but we'll just count the once), The Raidillon Automatic, Raidillon Chrono, The Audace, The Len'vie (Male & Female), Len'vie Moonphase, Etoile, Lugano The Marine Chrono, Grand Mont (Swiss Movement), Grand Mont (Ceramic Swiss Made), Volcan & Vocelite V1, may have had a couple of others but not 100% sure so leaving out.

All of them came in 6 colour variations apart from the Raidillon Auto (5) & the Vocelite (4) and usually approx 10 of each colour max.

So approx 750 Dechump watches at an average reduction of £1000 = £750,000 less to buy on IW as against buying direct from Dechump.

And Janice wants us to believe the reason the prices are low on IW is because it's cheaper for Dechump than paying for influencers or adverts, yeah right. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Caine with….batteries…Better priced elsewhere but constantly on the channel as clearly they target people with no clue how to find better value online. If he had something worth selling, he isn’t a necessarily too bad a watch. Although they do sell a few at times.

They must know the below alternative…

Next…Kung Fu Plimsolls and Chinese Illuminated Nunchucks…

Oh and Janice was still claiming the Grand Mont Ceramic was "classed as a professional Dive Watch".

Bit of advice for you Janice read ISO 6425, especially these two areas, before spouting utter garbage.

"Equipped with a diving time indicator (e.g. rotating bezel, digital display, or other). This device shall allow the reading of the diving time with a resolution of 1 min or better over at least 60 min."

"The presence of an indication that the watch is running in total darkness. This is usually indicated by a running second hand with a luminous tip or tail."

Neither of which does the Grand Mont Ceramic possess. ;)

WE ARE BEATING AMAZON, he says for a clothes aired comparison. Amazon was never mentioned on the batteries item - funnily enough.

Yeah but did you notice it isn't even the same Drier, the one compared with is bigger. ;)

Yes Marina Berry, pretty sure there's clips on YouTube, she could never keep a straight face!
I liked her, because her face said exactly what she was thinking and she used to look at Pete sometimes as though he'd landed from outer space (which may well be where Chez Hovel is located, of course....)
