Trevor from the Cotswolds is most definitely someone having a laugh. The only thing that I'm not sure about is whether or not he is familiar with this forum.

Heavy rain last evening in London which turned to light snow around midnight. All washed way now. It's going to be warmer today in London but rain forcaset all day. No need to go out so I'll catch up on my podcasts, I listen to a few history ones so I've always got loads to listen to. I'll have the occasional glimpse IW for a laugh. Hope those who live in the north and Scotland are all OK, surprised we didn't have heaters and scare stories last week!

Off to Wakefield today to look into buying a car. I change cars like Peter Simon changes his man bags or his pee pants. Pre-arranged appointment so wouldn’t have chosen this day on the off-chance. Weather cold here in Nottingham but roads okay. Let’s hope I’m not Captain Oates. Though, he didn’t go for a short drive!

Fine here, just cold at the moment. Not much snow since Friday but cold means pavements are a nightmare to walk on again, supposed to heat up later & warmer tomorrow.

Must admit that my very rare experience of Scottish weather was like ‘ -5c feels like -40c’Fine here, just cold at the moment. Not much snow since Friday but cold means pavements are a nightmare to walk on again, supposed to heat up later & warmer tomorrow.

Probably had been a windy day, no wind today so feels okay when walking but when the wind picks up boy do you feel the difference.

A good covering of snow here in Doncaster. Hubby backed car off drive at 6:30 this morning to go to work and the tyre tracks have been covered with more snow. I won’t be venturing out today. Even my cat Lucy, only made it a couple of metres out the front door and then turned round and sprinted back inside. Now curled up asleep with me in bed

I hope everyone is well and keeping warm. Same here, kids outside trying to play in the thin layer of snow that we have had but an icy drive into work this morning. I don't know how we've missed the snow. They've had a good covering in Eston, 3;miles away, Middlesbrough, Stockton & Thornaby also. I feel cheated.A good covering of snow here in Doncaster.
