Was looking into that Horatio Perfume and you can’t buy it anywhere else other than Ideal World or Horatio London direct. The Horatio website is a bit ambiguous. No contact details and checked it out on Companies House and it states nature of business - Wholesale of perfume and cosmetics. A bit smoke and mirrors. If this was a truly luxurious and exclusive perfume it would be stocked in lots of places, not Ideal World. Also, it was on about an hour ago priced £129.99 then it’s just been back on at £79.99. What the f*ck is that all about

Just sent in a complaint to the ASA about that last section on the salt lamp. Eletromagnetic waves from your WiFi etc do not cause positive ions. Unless that is your WiFi emits X-rays or gamma rays in which you would be burnt to a crisp and a salt lamp would be bloody useless. For the salt lamp to emit negative ions and remove the non existent fog it would need to be heated to well over 1000 C (must have one hell of a bulb in it). He will telling us it will cure cancer next. The man is an absolute cretin. …..I feel better after that little rant, I just need to go and find my dog now as he left the room in a hurry when I started to shout some very rude words at the tv.

Had I see it, I'd have felt compelled to complain (although the ASA would reject it since I've complained about IW before – if you complain about the same company more than 3 times it's classed as a "vendetta", even if your previous complaints were upheld ).

Selly telly presenters aren't scientists or doctors, of course. I don't expect them to understand the science behind the things they sell. But I do expect accuracy and honesty – i.e., if they don't know, don't make sh*t up!

Sally is just as bad with her "I've been to medical conferences" schtick when hawking whatever snake oil Vaibhav Global Ltd has bought a container of from China.

It's kind of amazing how so many leading lights and well-versed experts in so many profitable industries - fashion (Gen/Sal), watches (Pedro), sound/DIY (Mike), health (Sal/Pedro), beauty (Natalia) …are instead choosing to earn their crust from a low-rent shopping channel…

The luxury watch model applied to beauty products, it seems. Import cheap tat, slap on fancy words and large RRPs, and sell at healthy margins (with limited time deals) to naive people desperate to believe they're buying something luxury.

If a brand ever has to tell you it's "luxury" or "high end" - it's not.

Thing is, for £129.99 or even £79.99 someone could buy an actual high-end brand with real lineage and history, involved in their own product, and care about perception.

Fly-by-night brands from mushroom companies don't need to care about ending up with a dodgy reputation since they're not real and won't last. They can just create a new faux brand, and repeat the process.

I honestly think the man is getting more ridiculous and someone away from the cameras in their senior management should have a word in his shell, does he think anyone believes his bizarre pitches, ' ive brought creed , tom ford blah to air, blah blah' we know that is crap but clearly trying bring a link to this Horatio that no ones ever heard of. Didn't mention Gammon did he!

He was at it last night with an electric heater with 2 speed fan and pretend flame with plastic logs, the weirdest crap coming out of his mouth.
