Look In (if I remember rightly) was more around TV programmes. Jackie was a girls magazine and had articles and pictures about pop stars, fashion and beauty tips, and had agony aunts called Cathy and Claire.

What is this you are saving hundreds of pounds on a branded fragrance by buying some alleged smell alike for £20 sales tactic they employ? You are not saving anything at all. You are spending £20 on an inspiration fragrance, that other than an alleged similarity to a high profile brand, lacks the kudos, the packaging, the brand exclusivity, the credibility, and the genuine smell of the name it purports to impersonate. I genuinely can’t get a grip on their perception of the mentality of buyer they are pitching to? Rose Prick has just bought one. Well done, Rose. Oh..that’s a smell, not a person. Barry George? What are they doing with the alleged buyer lists this morning. Convicted killers, cleared on Appeal?

As I've said before, people need to live within their means and no, not everything revolves around tier 1 brands. However, can you imagine buying your nearest and dearest an unknown brand of e.g. perfume that cost you £20, instead of buying them the proper (and yes more expensive) brand they know and love?

As you say it's a pathetic tactic but there again, I'm not surprised they use it.

I cover all bases. I have a memory foam pillow with a GX on top and a goose feather on top of that.

So Mike got some messages asking if there were any suitcases in the black Friday offers.

No he said, we didn't have any, but he was checking and they had suitcases which were in stock for shows in January so he asked if he could bring them forward to today. So not a black Friday deal but I've got you black Friday prices.

5 minutes later, these were going to be in the black Friday deals at the weekend, but i got them held back for today's show.


You know you can understand the lying gits contradicting themselves from one show to the next, but within 5 minutes is pretty poor, you would think they would at least be able to do a competent con within the same show without getting their lines/stories mixed up.

QVC Style. Squeaky Beaky Laura and Fashion
Ideal World. Foghorn Fanny and “Fragrances” plus other Tat
Hobbymaker Boring Bradford and Blodwyn
Gemporia. Angelina Ballerina and Baroque Pearls
TJC Chloe. Probably the best of the bunch and no incomprehensible buyer. Sound out of sync though

I had been under the impression that there were always several suitcases to hand at the back of the studio? You know... the ones they use to bring in the stock with...

Those suitcases , swift pioneer ,are available from the range and wilco, to their credit they do look to be a bit cheaper at IW (£15 quid cheaper for the pair), but surprise surprise they choose to do a price comparison of £229 and mason gives some crap about the middle/intermediate size case , it doesn't look like that size exists based on other stockists. A true price comparison is £85 IW!

There must be a lot more gullible people out there who actually believe the spiel even though this seems impossible, but you do wonder and after all, Masonic (?Moronic) Mike has got an honest face.... They must have been looking through the 2024 Crime Christmas Annual for inspiration...I wonder they haven't name checked Jack the Ripper by now.
