Torchy and the wing commander.
I see they've put the two most boring tw@ts on at the same time.
I think they must be trying to get us all to follow Pedro's advice and get early nights to bed to save money!

Wonder what make they are?

Knowing him, the same ones as Mike of the Masons: the Apple AirPods Max, which RRP @ £499.

I seem to recall Mike alluding to them in a show when he was selling some cheap plastic headphones.

Would've been something like: "I treated myself to some new headphones – expensive ones — and I mean expensive — by the fruit brand. Y'know the one… go over the head, perfect for my man cave. Pricey, but I work hard for my pennies and I luuuuurve music. But these ATSYFL ones we just got in the business? I promise you they are every bit as good, and for fraction of the price. Bring it - 3-2-1… £14.99! Is that right? Blimey – get in quick gang, these are gonna go".

They're a bit of a joke. The kind of headphones someone buys because they want to be seen to care about "quality sound" rather than buying something …that is actually quality sound (for less). I live in Exeter and all the Exetaaaaah uni students walk around in them… while probably not listening to anything…

A colleague of mine told me a couple of days ago that she slipped down the stairs, she was wearing Primark slippers. I always wear their slippers but I live in a flat!
I’ve never ever been able to keep mule type shoes or slippers on. Since I hurt my back 40 odd years ago, it’s usually flat lace up or strapped shoes, occasionally wore heels to special “dos”. Since I was a child always worn pump style slippers.

These days fluffy lined slippers with an adjustable Velcro strap and non slip indoor/outdoor soles. As I have to get up/down the stairs holding on to the bannister with one hand and walking stick in other, I need the security of well fitting slippers.
