Without being harsh (this is more an observation than a judgement) it feels like Sally thinks she is an influencer (and desperately wants to be seen as one) rather than actually is one.

Her social media following is only in the tens of thousands, not the hundreds or millions. Her engagement metrics on IG and YouTube aren't exactly on fire, and her follower count has been static for years - not a sign she's exactly hot property.

Still, being an influencer is as much about the audience as the person. Big numbers aren't necessary if the followers are captive: i.e., a large % of the right demographic they want.

What's the average age of her followers likely to be? She's only "famous" from selly telly, which skews older. Most fashion, makeup, etc brands target the 18-35 demographic since they're most lucrative/mouldable/receptive to chasing trends to stay up with their peers.

Would they follow her? She's hardly a spring chicken. I can't see teens and uni students coming across her profile and 'seeing themselves' in her, thinking "yeah, I need to take advice from this lady".

Which means all her fashion tips on social media (which curiously rarely feature IW brands) about trends that "celebs" are wearing, etc are likely being seen by people of an age more concerned with SAGA than Prada.

Beyond her brief stint as the face of Proto-col prior to coming back to IW3, has any brand actually paid her to post about anything on her social media?

Cos if not, she's not an influencer anywhere other than in her own head.

I saw her once and after 2 minutes she influenced me never to watch her again so there!. Gob on a stick! Vulgar(loud) and almost aggressive. Urghhh..

And in all seriousness it is true. I never watch her unless last few minutes before my Uncle Peter comes on,or my big mate Mike. I’m one of his gang,don’t you know?

It annoys me the way Black Friday has been abused by the likes of IW although they're by no means the only culprit.

It annoys me the way Black Friday has been abused by the likes of IW although they're by no means the only culprit.

In all seriousness,I actually don’t know when Black Friday is. Nor do I care. It’s just another commercial ploy or opportunity. A bit like Xmas is now.

In fact a survey or surveys have been done and you can actually pay more on Black Friday than at other times of year. .if you use PriceSpy or similar you can follow price trends if you really really want summat!
But thing is they are preying on people impulse buying… I mean ok,I’ve got 300 canes,ten air fryers and drawers full of compression socks,but that’s my business !! So don’t judge me ok? Alright?

I have a question about the Duchump watches. They contain the incredible, almost miraculous ‘CERAMIC’, as do IW’s excellent range of fan heaters. Does this mean that if I take out the battery they will continue work and I will get free energy just like their heaters.

Sort of..well if I follow what you are alluding to it does mean that you could wear the ceramic heater on your wrist and just as nice and useful as a Duchamp watch

What an absolutely dreadful thing to say! I had to give my head a wobble then after reading your post. You almost led me to believe that they didn’t tell the truth sometimes.
But I’m ok again now and buying multiples of everything because I definitely need this stuff and the nice man says I must buy it,even if I don’t need it.

Black Friday is the last Friday in November, followed by Cyber Monday. I don't know how it originated and can't be bothered to look it up as I'm ready for bed

Totally agree. I like the Nesprsso ads with George Clooney because they're amusing. But it has never made me want to buy one just because he's in the ad. It just tells me that someone has been paid for advertising something. I take recommendations from people who know me.

I wonder how many people record programmes and when watching zap through the adverts. I know I do. Some of the adverts are so obscure I don’t know what they’re advertising. The only person that influences me to buy anything is me!
