The Mysterious Caine doing a fantastic Chinese Christmas show this morning…Just wish he’d crack a smile once in a while..

Greed and Gammon have just the same effect - that's why Of-the-Masons and Jannis Morgun buy so many bottles of it!

Strangely, don't seem to hear of Dirty Peter buying a lot of bog water - I guess his hovel is damp enough without spraying more liquid about.

He makes do with the great smell of Emu Balm - not only rub it all over, alright

£36.99 on Amazon for the radiator. He had the standard central heating this week, not Economy 7.
I have to admit Peter S annoys me and then some. I saw his link to the oil filled heaters and he definitely said something like:

And at only £8 it's a market beating price, coming up at 9pm tonight!

Yeah, £8 would indeed be a market beating price, IF it was the total price. The old con merchant was obviously up to his old trick of just mentioning the first flexi. It's one of their tactics that really annoys me because it's an out and out lie.

He can't afford to have the heating on. He has no shame, sell the gold Rolex if you're that skint.
It's all that sort of GUFF that ensures I never watch for more than two or three mins at a time. All the obviously made up garbage they spout.

Let's take a product, could be any product, let's say a vacuum cleaner. They're selling a vacuum cleaner for £99.99. Cue the following from the presenter:

I bought a vacuum cleaner last year, one of the big brands, cost me £300 and you know, it doesn't work as well as this one. I wish I'd known cause I would have held off ...

LIES LIES LIES ... GUFF GUFF GUFF

Henry vacuums are usually the norm in holiday cottages broom cupboards. Great long chord on them…Cumbersome to use, though, I found. And not particularly effective - again just an opinion. I certainly wouldn’t buy one for my own home.

In terms of the vacuums sold on this channel - the narrative completely changes depending on if it’s corded or non-corded. Previously praised cordless machines are now put down (literally) for everything they do and how they do it. And the former ‘Tools of the Devil’ corded ones, are now Cleaning Warriors of The National Grid…(Van Knottshuckup’s) latest ridiculous strapline. He forgets…a cordless vacuum’s battery is also a Cleaning Warrior of The Grid at source…Also, he never does a really testing demonstration, does he? How about bringing a square of carpet in with ground in dog hairs sticking to it? Not just rice and more rice….

It would take more than ‘I’m Not Doing it to Show Me Strength Off,” (Oh yes you are) corded vacuum wielding Mason, or the ludicrous Power of The National Grid association to make me buy one of those cheap looking own brand machines they are relentlessly trying to flog of late. A lot more.

I have an idea. If IW is SOooo confident the cheap vac sucks as well as any other vac, do this. Sprinkle some sand on a carpet. Go over it thoroughly with the cheap vac. Then go over the same carpet with something like a Dyson or Shark (one that works properly and hasn't been rigged) and see if any sand was left behind by the cheap vac ;)

Go on IW, if you're so confident it's as good as the best, test it alongside the best. I dare you ...

How long can they get away with saying inspired by I wish 1 of those companies would sue them for every penny they don't have They must have a compliance officer who's told them they can get away with it
The devil's probably in the detail here. I'd think that as long as they don't use expressions such as "the item's identical to....", or "the same as..." etc., then using expressions like "inspired by..." just keeps them on the right side of legal. But unless they slip up and anyone gives them away or someone from a company happens to clock the presentation, then there's a fair chance they'll get away with any breaches.

I'm amazed the presenter would even consider buying elsewhere if IW have such good deals on appliances. Even if the presenter's previous vac. had broken and their gaff was 6ft high in dust it would be worth holding off to buy from Bargain City, wouldn't it? BS at it's very finest, without a doubt. :ROFLMAO:

Hello everyone, first time posting to the forum. Came across IW a couple of months ago and couldn’t believe what I was seeing, Awful people selling awful products . I am now hooked. Is there something wrong with me?
Welcome, Megabazus. Yes, there is something wrong - but don't worry, it's nothing that a course of tablets, a spell in secure confinement and 50 years of visits to a therapist won't cure. :D I personally have never suffered from it......Nurse! Quick!

And we know the term 'inspired by' is pretty meaningless. I could say my choice of clothing is inspired by Kim Kardashian but it doesn't actually mean anything. Having said that, if you saw a photo of me all glammed up in my Tansy tent next to a photo of her you would struggle to tell us apart🤣🤣🤣

That's a thing of most, if not all Shopping Telly channels. Whatever comes out is always better than the previous 'same' item. They say so and so a version is good but 'this' is better. Dragging stones over here. Two stones that look alike, are the same colour AND the same name. The second one is the best of the best.
