QVC To Stop Accepting Maestro For Online Purchases?

Having a read of the QVC Facebook page and a guy has received a letter from QVC saying they can no longer accept Maestro Card for payment on online purchases.

Anyone else pay by Maestro get a letter or email? I remember when they didn't accept Electron for years but did Maestro.

A lot of banks have changed from Maestro to Visa Debit so that could have some bearing on QVC's decision.

Just googled and it seems loads of companies have done the same!!

Just got the letter today - strange thing is they will still accept Maestro on Q Cun by calling the order line!!??

Yes that was it only online purchases are effected which is rather strange.

I don't understand it at all. I understood them not accepting electron as it wasn't a widely used debit card, but maestro is used the world over!

shame as they'll lose my business online if i'm not able to ring up and order something i see.
