Trigger words on QVC

I find myself increasing drawn to watching QVC after noticing the repeated use of key or ‘trigger’ words and phrases when the presenters are describing certain products.

I'm sorry but the poster was a bit too "intelligent" for me and I wasn't quite sure what they were getting at. They do say "You'll be getting" which is fair enough because if you pay the price, you'll be "getting" it, other than saying "included in the pack" it's the same thing - I suppose the use of the words, you'll be getting does make it sound a bit more personal perhaps -maybe that's what they meant. The second paragraph, I didn't really get all this third party stuff, unless they're alluding to BA's as well as the presenters - Well of course they're gonna make it sound like it's something you can't live without - They're trying to sell something, so they would wouldn't they?
What I've noticed though is the way they try and convey luxury...all the sumptious handwashing and rubbing serums into hands making them look all glowy, and the way they sweep their hands across garments on the hangers (esp RL)!

It was Digital Spy as put in the title. On their UK TV section. This section is for all UK shows such as The Chase, dramas and comedies like Ghosts.

I think the poster was trying and failing to point out selling/trick words that the presenters use to make people by.

It's funny though, QVC tries to convey luxury, exclusivity, and unique style and tout themselves as a high end department store through our screens - loads of people buy, but you won't hear many people admitting it. You'll hear people proudly announce "Harvey Nicks/ Fortnum & Mason darling" but you'll more than likely hear "Qvc" said very quickly in hushed tones or disguised by a cough 'cause people are still embarrassed to admit they use shopping channels. For the uninitiated, shopping channels are still associated with saddos that need to "get a life", "addicts that can't control their spending" and weird and (not so) wonderful gadgets that don't work.
At the end of the day Q can give us as much spiel and spin as they like, they'll always be a public embarrassment - so suck that up Q!
