Thanks to everyone for their kind replies, you're all lovely, I hope I've done it right I haven't quite got the hang of it yet.
 
I was watching the QVC timeline when that happened, and I don't believe for one minute they were hacked. They had tweeted something else shortly before it, and very soon after the offending tweet was posted, they removed it and apologised. You can't do those things that quickly if you are hacked. I think that whoever was on duty on the company computer that day to read tweets and reply was surfing the net or opened an email link, clicked something by mistake on that website and didn't know it would send an automatic tweet to the account they were logged on at. Plenty of sites send tweets on your behalf ;) Then they made up the hacker story. Funny how they managed to get their Twitter account unhacked and password changed via security etc, within about 30 seconds eh ;)

As for Facebook, I had an account years ago but hated it, so haven't logged on since 2009 :)
