I ahve obviously been spending too much money in the beauty dept now as have been invited to this. Anyone else had an invite?

I did but mine is for Friday 22nd Jan at 9am!! There is no way I could get there with it being peak travelling time not to mention the cost of train fares and it's expensive staying overnight. I'd really like to go but the cost and hassle is too much and will have to decline.

I got an invite for 2.15pm until 6pm. Looking forward to this, Not often I get a day out in London, taking my friend with me, :mysmilie_698:

We got the invite again this year as we've not been able to attend previously. However, I'm not sure if we'll get in as the letter asking us to phone and confirm didn't get here until after their deadline on the 27th. Getting there for 9am is going to be a problem too but may see if it's possible to spend the previous night in a hotel somewhere nearby. Any advice on that? We need to take the car too because of mum's incapacity.
