QVC 24 hour customer care???

When did they cease their 24 hour customer care service ? The message tells you to hold then gives day time hours then cuts you off!!
 
They must be feeling the pinch if they have cut down the 24hr call service...
 
Over the past couple of years they've offered promotions, cancelled the morning show comp (and I use the term "show" loosely) let staff go, shortened their on air times and now, cancelled the 24 hour customer service. So In typical QVC style, they've made changes to suit themselves, not the customer.
 
I have to say that any time I've had the occasion to call Customer Service they have been very pleasant indeed, so no complaints there, but I think the 24hr stopped a while back, and I don't know if it is to do with their own life/time restraints, but those who have been watching since the beginning will notice that a lot of the presenters, those we like and those we don't are not on all the time like they used to be - just a thought.
 
I hadn't realised until last night after midnight wanting to cancel an order!! After trying every number thinking it was me using the wrong number managed to do it online
 
Perhaps they analysed the number of calls and realised that the night shift wasn’t cost effective. From what I read elsewhere they could spend more on staff dealing with e mails - they say they attempt to answer them within 72 hours. In this day and age I don’t think this is fast enough.

I didn't know you could cancel online. That would be much easier than having to ring! How did you do it, if you don't mind me asking?
