Has anyone bought this? I'm on the verge of getting one because my stairs are filthy with spilt tea stains (Mr CC not me), I've got various patches of dog sick stains (sorry) on my upstairs carpet, my car is a disgrace and the upholstery at the caravan could do with a clean. I do have a vax carpet cleaner which is good but there's no attachments and it's a cow to clean as the dog hair gets stuck in the brushes and I need to take the garden hose on jet mode to clean it out. The Shark looks like they've solved that problem. It's such a lot of money when I have a carpet cleaner already but it looks like it would make my life so much easier. I'm chief cleaner in our house sadly so I feel I deserve to just buy it but is it as good as it looks? I know if it's rubbish I can return but any thoughts anyone? Big Deal will run out soon so if I'm going to buy I need to do it now.

As a cleaner it is efficient. Some really old or embedded stains may need a little extra scrub or a few accumulative cleans. It gets out wastage of human and animal type as well as some infamous stainers. I dropped some rhubarb and it was all sucked up. The suction also helps to dry the surface quickly because the liquid is sucked up into it. My one hand and little stump managed to use it and clean it without any problems. To attach the heads I tuck the pipe but in my armpit and twist the head on. My head is quite shaky so I use a large funnel to help fill the tank. The hole is a responsible size. It actually doesn't use a lot of liquid so it is not like carrying around a paddling pool. I like the fact that the stain remover doesn't have a strong smell.

I tried to use a Henry to vacuum and ended up losing a tug of war with a chair cushion. It was too powerful! It wanted to eat everything! The Shark Pet Stain Spot Cleaner doesn't suck up the carpet along with the stain. It will need a little strength though because it is trying to suck out the stain from deep within the fibres. I wasn't wrestling with it.
