Postage increase from 13th February

I think they should offer 1 p&p on weekends to make up for the increase, except for bulky items.

Nothing is packed until Monday so if you order a few rings on Sat and ring and pendant on Sun, it’s just as easy and possibly more efficient for packers to package that all together.

I think they used to do that many years ago - but yet again, they took away a service whilst increasing the price.

I have always felt slightly conned by the weekend P&P. Buy something Friday, Saturday and Sunday and you would pay £9 way back then and now it's £15. When 3 pendants or 3 gemstones, say, can be easily packed into those 11p - 19p boxes and posted out at £2.70 (using the figures in TMWNN's initial post above), £15 just looks like shameless profiteering - especially when you annualise the figures.

God help you if you choose "Premium" delivery at the weekend!

(And don't try to convince me that setting the increase to start after the last possible day for Valentine's Day purchases isn't nakedly cynical.)

Nothing says 'I love you' more than a gold tone coated Topaz ring and a Kimbie perfume that smells like Gorgonzola :D

My last 5 ex-wives were so ungrateful.
I like Gorgonzola :p That and Stilton. You can't beat shoving sweaty socks in your mouth :p I wouldn't recommend that personally, but if you ignore the smell, blue cheeses are very nice. As I'm rambling, I remember, in my first job, I'd get stuff to make sandwiches at work. The complaints I'd get when I'd taken the Stilton out to warm it up.
