I see that in April they have a PetsProgramme scheduled. I will definitely tune in to to see the LittleCuties. I don't mean any of the presenters. Maybe there will be a lot of mishaps during that hour.:mysmilie_486: from SirPoopsALot or LadyPeesALot :mysmilie_62: x Snarly

Has anyone used a Furminator on a cat - is it any good?

One of mine barely moults, but the other supplies nest lining for all the birds in spring!
I've got one Frazzled. Its quite harsh on them, but it sure as xxxx gets the fur out of them, from weird places. LOL. And then they seem to like it .

!!!! Sounds like something that should be on a pet's porn channel lol

best thing i ever brought in way of a comb , i havent used it on a cat but my bitch moults terribly , and the amount of loose coat i removed last spring & autumn was staggering, i did get the larger comb but wish i had opted for a slightly smaller one

the way i see it is all that coat would have been in the beds & on my floors & furniture , money well spent imho

Well, honestly, what do you expect, when Hopey's Mumma is our WerthersQueen!!! I had one of those furminator things for Tiddles and she loved it - but she loved being Bwushed! She was a short-haired Tuxedo and I think I was over-zealous. Surely not a WholeHour of Furminator?!? Followed by the MiehlePetVacuumCleaner and VaxCarpetCleaner. :mysmilie_487::mysmilie_48:

If they had my young labrador on the prog it would be Madam Bounce-a-lot because I`m certain she has a spring up her rear !
Earlier last year she moulted enough hair to stuff a mattress and I bought one of those special combs which gets right underneath their coat and removed enough hair to stuff another mattress. I then put her on Yumega and put a teaspoon on her food and its certainly made a heck of a difference. She still moults but not to the same extent and her coat is beautifully glossy and smooth.

Awww, I bet she's lovely, Vienna! BigHugs from AuntieSnarly. As she's a Labrador, she knows my accent! x :mysmilie_48:Snarly

They certainly vary in price online, same model £20-£35, most + p&p!

Bought one (with free P&P), I could do with it now really and I doubt Q will a better price. Millie enjoys being combed so hopefully it won't be too much of a shock for her!

I bought ours from Amazon last autumn - it now lives with friends who swear by it.

His Nibs adores being brushed and combed so I was very surprised by his reaction but can only think his aged bones may have had something to do with it. He'll be 19 this June and, as is quite normal, his bones have become much more prominent. He's quite happy if I stick to a Love Glove and a de-tangling brush that was recommended to me down in The Drop.
