As someone who knows (or used to know!) a little bit about Elvis Presley I can tell you that Peter Simon is absolutely hopeless on the subject!
I could only tolerate a couple of minutes of his presentation but in that couple of minutes he had described a 1956 RCA promo photo as the first publicty shot for Sun Records from 1954,he then described another illustration as being the original Sun Records sleeve for Blue Suede Shoes when in fact Blue Suede Shoes was an RCA release and had only an unillustrated paper sleeve on it's initial release.
He then twice called King Creole 'Kid Creole'.
Of course none of this really matters in the great scheme of things, but is just another example of the lazy hapharzard disregard for accuracy that typifies this channel
