I've seen the infomercial for this and noticed IW had it a POTD around Christmas time. Has anyone tried this? Maybe they've changed the item number because there aren't any reviews on the IW website?

I can't figure out how this differs from the hot brush I used in the 80s to smooth out permed hair. Haven't they just reinvented the wheel with this? Bandying buzzwords like "ceramic" and "ionic" isn't convincing me, and my Braun cordless hotbrush (remember the gas cannister one?) also had cool teeth, in fact it came with two interchangeable sets of teeth in different lengths.

I watched the 1pm show and the demos were pretty good and I liked the fact you could still touch the brush when it was on and it wouldn't burn you , however I think its more suited to someone with short hair , the older lady who was the guests mum , results were very impressive.

I might dig it out and have a play. I'd agree they're aimed at shorter or layered hair but really the cordless ones were easier to manage around the back of the head without a wire.
