I think we all know that Craig is gay, and it rather came to the fore when on with Andi Peters in (yet another) food fest this evening. I just switched over to hear how he loves (cue giggles) the Molton Brown pink peppercorn and how loves covering himself in the lather bubbles - even Andi Peters was speechless and moved swiftly on.

It got me thinking. Apparently there is a move to have same sex dancers on Strictly, and after seeing Johannes in heels on sunday night, perhaps him and Craig would be a good pairing !!!

My (very much heterosexual and quite macho) brother loves a frothy bubble bath so don't think that makes someone gay/camp! ;) Mind you he probably wouldn't admit to it in public..!

But I can totally see Craig and Johannes dancing together! We all know how much Craig likes to boogie - just have to watch him doing a presentation of a Bose or other speaker item when the music comes on! ;)

I found it amusing on Saturday when Johannes was tying to do a very serious dance, he was really struggling not to smile!

What I've never understood is that Craig, Chloe and Miceal are all gay but you never hear them mention partners or other halves etc etc. Maybe they're all single or just private people which is totally fine and their business but they do talk about their families a lot, so I just really hope that they don't feel that they can't share that side of their lives freely - or been made to feel that by QVC...

I think there is still a perception, either by the broadcaster or the presenters themselves that it will alienate some viewers if they are open. The only one who is a regular on screen presence we know is gay is Will Gowing. It seems true on IW as well as QVC. Guests can be open, presenters not so much.

At the end of the day, it should be at the presenters' own discretion what they reveal about themselves. But if they are pressured into keeping schtum in this day and age, that's a shame.

Craig has often posted holiday snaps of him and his partner.

Other folks have talked comfortably about such things on-air, so I imagine any presenter who chooses not to mention certain parts of his or her personal life does so because they want it to remain just that.
Be good to think the world had moved on far enough for no-one to even bother speculating/making assumptions, wouldn't it?

Craig has written that he & his partner don't live together & Ms Everton has posted many photos of her with her partner, especially when socialising with Jackie Kabler. Miceal is one of the more private presenters & didn't say or write anything about his illness last year, or his brother's death, until there had been many questions about his absences. For all the criticism I heap upon the Q I don't think their ethos is to make people feel uncomfortbale about their sexuality & I'm sure there was a same sex marriage proposal on air a couple of years ago.

That was Will Gowing his partner proposed on air. I was during a beauty show.

Ha ha unusual to see Andi Peters speechless

Miceal is Irish and probably RC, which might be one reason for him keeping such personal details private.

I was watching Craig on the Silent Night show earlier and he really has a beautiful face. Just a random thought, it popped into my mind !

He does have lovely skin, but the shape of his face/head reminds me of Zippy!!! from Rainbow. Perhaps Zippy was more articulate however, & certainly more entertaining.

Craig's lovely but he does have a ba' heed as we'd say up here (round head like a ball). I've liked him since he was on the Express shopping channel many moons ago and I was pleased when he won that competition to get on QVC.

Now, about Zippy :mysmilie_15::mysmilie_15::mysmilie_15::mysmilie_15: I can't deny it's true he he he he he.

I had no idea that Chloe was gay, no idea at all. My gaydar clearly isn't working at the moment :)

I wasn't sure but the signs were there and ringing bells in the back of my mind. Unfortunately, my mind doesn't work well these day, front or back.

I'm surprised anyone didn't know Chloe was gay - she told Carla Laszlo live on air during a dress show (sort of under her breath but you could clearly hear it). Cringe cringe.

Zippy's head is round and bald.

Sam Ovens, one of the Q's regular models is also gay. A couple of years ago there was an embarrassing pause when the guest asked her if she'd be delighted should the man of her dreams buy her the ring she was modelling.

I can’t believe there are many people who don’t know Chloe Everton is gay, mostly down to her mannerisms being very “laddish” I can’t stand her, not because she’s gay, just can’t stand her. Every time I have the misfortune of channel hopping on QVC and she’s there, I hear Aerosmith’s (and the Mrs Doubtfire clip playing footy to) “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”
