Too much I reckon DFC!

I notice the guest is pushing the DR Perricone title in the promo. I thought QVC stopped selling Dr Denese skincare because the medical references where regarded by the ASA (or somesuch body) as suggesting the products were more effective than they actually are. Hopefully someone who remembers back that far will explain it more clearly or tell me I'm barking up the wrong tree entirly!

Anyone any idea what cold plasma is or does? Sounds like snake oil to me!

Jude xx

The TSV is NV Perricone 4 Piece Collection for approx £129 (normal QVC price approx £156)

They must think our heads zip up at the back!:taphead:

I am currently using Lacura.....yep.....from Aldi:mysmilie_845:.......a tenner for day cream, serum, night cream and eye cream, not each btw....the lot LOL!!

As yet my face hasn't fallen off and my skin feels lovely and soft:nod:

I find generally that skin care ranges launched by people with MD after their name are not, essentially, a medically enhanced product line and the individuals are using what they perceive to be a respected reputation to assist in promoting and selling the range. Elemis and Decleor, among others, are skincare specialists and I feel much more assured that I am buying skincare products from a manufacturer who knows what they are talking about.
Also, NV Perricone is unnecessarily expensive. L'occitane use the best quality ingredients, such as the best possible quality lavender, yet don't pass the increased cost on to the consumer, so why does Dr Perricone? He is, in my opinion, merely putting his name to the product as an endorsement, rather than sitting down and actually researching the active ingredients and making the products.
It never ceases to amaze me how easily people can be convinced of the authenticity of advice given by a medical professional. It is, consequently, no surprise that there are ladies and men out there who are only too willing to splash out an astronomical amount of money on skincare because a doctor is saying that it works.

Just had to add my boring and un-necessary......NO EASY PAY?????? ARE THEY MAD?????

Or am I living in a parallel (sp?) universe and it's only me struggling to pay for gas and electric
and lacking an odd £100 and something quid to try a skin cream

The no easy pay is probably deliberate to stop people trying it and sending it back before the second payment goes out. Slap my hide for being cynical.

I've put my two-penneth in on the QVC FB page about no EP and I was shocked to see 2 posts going on about the amazing cost of this TSV. 4 words - More Money Than Sense!!!:taphead:

I have just been reading the latest issue of the Health and Beauty Magazine from Boots and they will be stocking a new range by Dr. Nick Perricone called Super, it is on page 41 if anyone is interested. According to the web it is based on Super Foods.

The article shows two products, a Face and Eye Cleanser at £25 and a Eye Cream (Bright Eyed) at £29.50.

The products are not showing on the Boots web site but there is a web site for the Super range at http://www.getsuper.co.uk/

Interestingly this web site states that the products are free of: parabens, propylene glycol, mineral oil, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. When possible, Super products may be free of silicones and peg's.
