I returned some Honora earrings last Thursday 6 June. Up to today it has not shown up on my account altho I sent it first class recorded for next day delivery. just checked the post office website and they are 'holding' it. no way of emailing them so will have to struggle thru all the phone messages in the morning to find out what is going on and claim compensation. whoever said shopping online is easy!
 
That happened to me recently, with Royal Mail reducing their level of cover to £20 I decided to go for recorded so at least I know if it has been received, it took almost 2 weeks. I'm a bit wary after returning a pericone tsv for £129 special delivery and despite it being signed for at qvc's end it didn't show up as received so after giving them the tracking number they refunded me

I returned a ceramic watch by special delivery and I had the email refunding me the very next day. Expensive but It was nice to get the money back quickly.
Online shopping is in my good books again though. My son- aged 3- has developed a fascination with Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. :confused: I just got him the DVD and illustrated hardback book for the grand total of 1p each! Don't think I will bother with the postage for a refund on that!
 
I rang 'Royal' Mail this morning and could only get an automated service which told me it can take 15 days to deliver! no way to talk to a human operator at all. really scandalous. If I had sent it by ordinary post I would probably have the money back now. absollute con!

How annoying Ruthmay not being able to talk to a human being,that's one good thing about QVC there's always one there:call:
