What really annoys me with these cotton items is that they can't be boiled or even hot washed. It's 30 degrees. Yes, I know all about thread counts but it's useless if you've got a kid who's thrown up all over the bed, or even worse your bed. Back in the day (another phrase that irritates the bejasus out of me) I had various white and coloured cotton sets that I used to regularly boil in my Baby Burco Boiler (no washing machine or spin dryer, but I managed.) The smell was wonderful, particularly if they'd been out in the fresh air to dry. Oh the joy of changing the sheets!

the quality of the nn bedlinen means that a hot wash would harm the fabric. its not like high thread count you get from day yves delorme or christie. i really dont like the material. to put it on context could you go on the high street and get 4 good quality pillowcases fot the tsv price much less a 6 piece bedding set

Thought I would treat us to a new set as we only have 2 sets for our bed which we have been alternating for the past 4 years! Plus we are just about to decorate. I like it so much have ordered a Kelly Hoppen 700 TC set that's in clearance and works out as the same as this TSV price. Then we will have 4 sets to use for the next 5 years!

I'm pleased you are enjoying it. I have never bought bedding from anywhere other than Next as I have an abnormal sized bed & I find next is the best fit.

I did however get very tempted by the bedcover they had as an OTO late on. But didn't get it in the end as it was quite expensive.
