Just a quick question, but has anybody ever washed this bedding at over 40 degrees. It always says 30 on the label and I wash it at 40 and it's OK.

I'd really love to blast it clean at 60 once in a while but wondered how it might cope.

Anybody??

Fruityloops I suspect the 30 degree washing instruction is for environmental reasons. All the washing powders and liquids now recommend washing at 30 but I do mine at 40 degrees. Haven't tried 60 though.

I have done it on 60 degrees it was fine.

mine was the 350 thread count.

I have never tried their egyptian cotton range, the reviews on the egyptian cotton range are not that great

Hi all - I've washed my 300+ thread count and flannel at 60 degrees and they are all fine (around six sets in total) however with my Egyptian cotton sets(2) the fitted sheets have shrunk slightly, but can still use them. Although in a positive note re the Egyptian cotton - it gets softer and softer as you wash it. Linda
