And to add insult to injury, the earrings aren't even mirror images of each other - even the cheapest Romford Market earrings can manage that.

I've been fortunate enough to enjoy lunch at the Ritz (London) on 2 occassions and I can confidently assure you that there was NOTHING that remotely resembled that tat to be seen in that glorious dining room ( I wore my Tiffany silver )

I totally disagree. Having spent quite some time there for my job I can tell you it would be completely acceptable. I think its a lot of fun and would wear it. 'Bout time B & W had some competition.

PS - when I was last there I was wearing a Betsey Johnson jumper and handbag and no one batted an eyelid.
