Whether she has failed in her attempt at being a member of a girl band or not, at least she has followed her dream. If her goals have changed, at least she is young enough to develop new ones. Only a small percentage of successful artists actually becoome globally well known; just because we are not seing her in the press on a regular basis does not mean that she is not on the way to achieving her aims. I do have sympathy with her, hhowever, with regard to her mother telling the QVC viewing public about Sophie's career ambitions and giving us a running commentary on her progression. Also, appeariing on QVC as a model / guest, whether any strings have been pulled or not - wish I had someone to do the same for me! - is not exactly failing. I would guest on QVC in an instant. Incidentally, can anyone remember when IW used to have viewers appearing on air as presenters?
