Who is this Julien guy? He is talking through his backside, how narcissistic can you get? "I want MY ladies to wear..." We are really being spoiled, with all the fashion experts : Glenn (he must be seething!), Miceal - who is also the muse of Wendy Elsmore. Funny, she didn't mention Miceal being one of her students! It is the same with the jewellery, there are too many gem experts, gold experts, silver experts, diamonique experts, etc. Glenn Campbell does seem to be appearing on screen less and less of late.
What I find so irksome, the Q introduce a new brand from QVCUS, Isaac Mizrahi, and he cannot even be bothered to come over himself, to at least introduce us to his range. I know he is extremely popular in the US but, due to his apathy, I hope he doesn't take off in the UK. Why is it automatically assumed that, if something is successful across the pond, it is guaranteed to be a winner over here?

Speaking of a gold expert, it is possible that I am missing lots because I'm not able to watch as much of QVC as I did, but haven't seen the woman who was the gold expert, she had grey curly hair, was her name Jan Springer ? I think if enough viewers contact QVC and let them know we are tired of being patronised by so-called experts, they might just sit up and take notice. I for one am not going to fall for any sales spiel so they might as well stop flogging a dead horse.

Oh I agree about the black and khaki Yong Kim dress on the guest and I'm now gutted as I noticed it on the website a couple of days ago and ordered both colours as it looked so good in the photos now I'm thinking they will be going back, I think they are due to arrive tomorrow, I was excited to try them but after seeing what a mess she looked in it and how the colours came across on the TV I'm not looking forward to opening the bags! I should have waited, can't believe she was allowed on air looking like that!

JW2, I think the model looked nice in the dress, because she was taller whereas the guest lady was short and slightly plump, no offence to her. If you are tall JW2 you may be pleasantly surprised when you try them on - you never know. I have trouble with dresses, although I am 5' 7" I am hippy and I thought the dress may have been ok on me given the amount of material. Lets us know how you get on!!
Sadly I'm 5'4", I let you know what they are like when they arrive, it says carried forward so assuming courier can't get to me today, which builds the excitement or dread lol!!
Yep I groaned when I saw her in it, could have kicked myself for ordering early as I knew it would sell out, I don't think the crinkle cardi helped at all, also the info wasn't up so I didn't realise the black material wasn't model so might explain why it didn't hang so well, I'll find out soon enough lol! It may look great but if it doesn't I've got other YK dresses I love and I'm planning to get one of the TSV dresses and I need to stop buying clothes!!

Yep I just switched over, I had a very late night so not much sleep and I can't cope with him so I'm glad I recorded it so I can fast forward it and not hear anymore, he is quite funny but at him not with him which is not very nice!
Can anyone shed some light, I know this designer, man, as in Isaac M but not as a fashion designer but I can't think were from, has he been on American chat shows or tv series or something it's just bugging me a little as I know him but didn't know he was a fashion designer at all!
its a consideration when buying this look. I love join clothes but they are really voluminous even more so than yong kim. the poor reviews are usually from more petite ladies. being 5'8 and a 16+ these styles are quite flattering.

I've purchased a couple of the more voluminous tops as I love the colours and I've had my seamstress alter them to suit me which costs about £10 - £15 per item so if they're in the sale it makes it worthwhile as I get a lot of use out of them and as I said they do come in some gorgeous colours. I caved with the Isaac M hour and purchased the blue animal print chiffon blouse, just really liked it, will be interesting to see the quality.
I'm not sure if anybody has already said this but I often wonder if most of Q's fashion is made in the same warehouse and the designer just draws sketches then Q take over, just like the Kelly Hoppen range, which always makes me chuckle when reading reviews that people don't realise it's made by northern nights and they compare the quality lol! I do wonder with the likes of Nina Leonard, Marc Bouwer, Attitudes etc as well as this new range as it's been in USA for quite a while, as if there are quality concerns with these ranges they tend to be the same, it would undoubtedly make the manufacturing costs much lower due to volume.
Well the dresses arrived yesterday, tried them on and they are both going back! The Khaki is not as bad as it looked on the guest, in fact from the front on view they are flattering but the black material is awful and makes a noise when you move, it's the type of material that no matter what you try it will always ballon out its awful, the sea green is a pretty colour, if the black material had been modal as I had assumed as no details were up I'd have kept both as they would have hung beautifully and would have looked great! I reckon the ultra slim tall ladies will like this, it's a shame as the front view is really nice, the noise the black material makes would drive me round the twist, it's almost like waterproof material, note to self wait for details or note to Q put the details up quicker, at least there is DSR!
