I agree that's way too much. I'll check the price next time I'm in Portsmouth but we only go a couple of times a year and don't have any plans to do soon. My purchasing threshold to buy Molton Brown is about half price; any more than that and I start to dither and talk myself out of it!

well thats sensible figures your talking there though i kinda do make an exception when the 500ml ones are on offer as they do make it slightly better
 
well it's official I'm a grumpy old pedant!

I just got the monthly preview email for August which proudly announces "Molton Brown are back". Now I assume they mean Molton Brown the company (singular) so should that not be "Molton Brown is Back"?

Also yesterday I noticed the latest issue of "Essentials" magazine had the following irritating caption on the front cover, something along the lines of "Bored of you hair?", now "tired of" or "weary of" are fine, but Bored should be followed by with or by in my tight little pedantic world.

sigh! :confused:

I've reached that age where the English language is leaving me behind! :headbang:
 
JLP have 9x 50ml gels for £23 and no postage if you can click and collect to your nearest JL or Waitrose.
 
50 ml!!!! That's even less than the 75ml small bottles that L'Occitane are always slated for on here.
 
Those 50ml sets always irk me a little. Yes, you get to try a lot of different varieties, but they give out the 30ml sizes as samples at their stores. They always used to be 100mls in the sets.

I do hope they will do another £10 off voucher in the magazines this year! Normally around September time, In Red magazine or Marie Claire, I have made good use of these vouchers in the past 3 or 4 years!
 
We did think the prices will not be anywhere near the old days. Wake up call to many coming.

Molton Brown pop up on my side bit on Facebook, they seem to have good sales on a few times a year. Some stuff half price and other deals. As I don't have a smart phone or apps can't walk into the shop and get them. Hate paying shipping if bought off the website as you have to spend £50 I believe for free shipping.
