We also shop at Aldi and love the value and variety of different things we can buy there. Sometimes I can't believe the bill is so low when I look at what I've got in my bag. If you haven't tried Aldi you are missing out..
We don't have Aldi in Northern Ireland, they are in the Republic though.
I find Molton Brown and L'Occitane hand wash drying, I prefer using soap which I get from the christmas market each year I stock up. Its the size of L'Occitane bath bars, vegetal very moisturising and gorgeous. Oh and you get 3 bars for what you pay for one of L'Occitane. Oh and lasts a long time, I still have some from last year and bought another 5 for £10 this year.
I did buy MB christmas hand wash in their sale, but actually use it as bubble bath. I liked the smell.
My Lidi is the other side of town to me and across a notorious roundabout, and the last time I went I did not think it was as well kept and the staff looked scruffy. At a push I could walk to Aldi.I prefer Lidl myself, but also shop at Aldi occasionally.
Does the Aldi handwash contain parabens and nasties? I need to be careful because of terrible hand eczema.

Yes I've got to agree about Aldi, their skin care range and bathroom products are lovely and there's a reason why they're consistently voted number one supermarket and best brands, I mean why pay £18 for handwash when you can get just as good quality for 89p?
Must just say, I never have, nor never would pay Molton Brown prices, when there's equally great quality out there for a fraction of the price, take Aldi for example.
I only went into Aldi as I kept reading how many of their wines had won awards,so I buy most of my alcohol from there now and have recently discovered a 40 year old port which is excellent.:mysmilie_48:
I have just scoffed down a 100g nougat bar from Aldi - would make a lovely stocking filler. I can't tell you how much it cost as I threw away the receipt, but it is available in several flavours - I got strawberry, with dried strawberry slices and nuts.... scrummy. My problem now is that I need to get back there and get some more... and I suspect I've had my chance and it will all be gone :mysmilie_5:
As this thread is turning into a celebration of Aldi, and nothing really to do with Molton Brown, I hope you don't mind that it's eatables rather than skin or body-care...
My Aldi had the Molton Brown looky likey sets of shower gel and body lotion, each 300 ML in a box, for £2.99, well it said £2.99 on the display but just checking my receipt and I have been charged £2.49, and they are referring to it as handwash and lotion on the receipt but it is definitely shower gel and body lotion. They only had two varieties, Pink Pepperpod and Ylang Ylang. I have stocked up as they look great and if they are as good as the hand wash, then they are my bargain of the year!
The other product that I am really enjoying from Aldi is the Provive colour and Protect shampoo. I read somewhere that in a blind test, people thought it was better than a really pricey luxe shampoo costing £100!
