Got a chance to actually smell and try the new range today.

The SA insisted I wash my hands with the bath/shower gel and use the body lotion as a hand cream.
I did also spray the EDP. Lucky no wild strawberry, but I did get bluebell. Reminded me of the Penhaligon Bluebell perfume.

If I was going to buy I would buy this little set.

I popped into MB today and tried this. Well, the perfume was sprayed on a card, I didn’t try the actual shower gel. Now to me it didn’t smell of either bluebells or strawberries. I was quite disappointed by it really as I was remembering going into bluebell woods years ago and the smell was always overwhelmingly powerful and glorious. It was a pleasant enough smell; perhaps they should have ignored the strawberry because I don’t quite see how the two pair up. If it turned up cheap in a trio on Q I would happily use it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

They sent me a sample of Clementine last time. Nothing this time.
If you have a shop or proper concession near you maybe you can have a sniff? I won’t, because I’m not risking my gag reflex.

I really like it. The vetiver with the clementine makes it truly unisex, imo.

I hate, and I mean HATE, vetiver. I call it bog body, on my skin any perfume with it goes sort of gassy and swamp like and makes me think of the bodies dug up from bogs thousand of years old. The idea of it paired with orange is :sick:

I think it was Dylina asking what the bluebell or strawberry is like. I've got mine but it is neither floral or fruity to my nose. It's a sort of earthy smell with a bit of green, as if you'd been digging in the garden  It's a bit of a weird one considering it's name. It smells a bit like coastal cypress without the freshness. I can't say I'd buy it again. I also got sunlit clementine which I do really like as it's light and fresh and the sunrose and jasmine (sample) which is much warmer.
