Over the weekend some of the models were wearing a purple tunic top that came down longer at the back (like a fishtail?). I was wondering if anyone knew what range this was from and if it might be available to buy. I really liked it.

Thanks Pinkmoon that is the one. However, having seen the price and the sizing I don't think I'll be ordering one!! At least my curiosity has been satisfied.

I clearly have too much time on my hands! I thought I'd Google to see if these clothes were available elsewhere, and came across this old QVC listing for the top:

http://shop.big-style-diary.com/Pro...Crinkle-Tissue-Knit-Asymetric-V-Neck-Top.aspx

Note not only the huge price increase in the top, but also the p & p :mysmilie_514:

Pinkmoon, having examined the 'old' top carefully (and how much time do I have on my hands??), I see that the cheaper one is polyester and crinkle-effect, whereas the one that's currently on the website is modal and non-crinkly. Might explain the difference in price, but the higher postage is still a mystery!

Well spotted AllThatGlitters!

Further investigation tells me that Modal must be a much nicer fabric to wear than polyester:

What is the fabric Modal?

It is made from the beech wood chips. It feels like silk and absorbs more water than cotton. It is more sturdy and doesn't fade, pill, or shrink the same way as cotton tends to.

It's a nice top, but at this price just not for me either. :giggle:
