First of all get a number of gold plated generic 12" LPs. Then get hold of an equal number of michael Jackson Thriller CDs, followed by an equal nuber of picture frames. Now take the CDs from their jewel cases and stick one in the centre of each LP, so that they looks like LP labels. Put the LPs into the frames, then place the front covers from the CD cases next to the LPs. Add to those a small label in each frame that says something like, "This gold disc is to recognise worldwide sales of the album Thriller". The wording is not so important, but be sure to say it's a limited edition and say each one is number X of X. You can also use a picture of Mr Jackson in cocert as a background collage You shoould now have something that looks like this.
Now get Lord Peter Simon to sell these on bid on a sunday afternoon. Tell him to say these things cost a fortune and that we expected them to easily sell for £350. It will help if he says that they can only increase in value You should finally end up with £139.95 for each one. You can legally do this, as you have not infringed any copyright as nothing has been copied or reproduced. They are fairly worthless, apart from the few quid it cost you to put together.
It's a good idea, but it has already happened. Someone beat you to it yesterday afternoon.
Easy money!
