Mia Tui TSV 3/3/25

Tend only ever to watch QVC at midnight these days and only rarely then, so I’ve only seen the presenter of the Mia Tui TSV once before.

Heard her called Laura?

Is she quite new?
Is she well liked?

Based on the midnight hour I like her!
Seems a lot less annoying and pushy than some and not jaded.

She said that her husband is a pilot [it was relevant!] so maybe not as down to earth as I imagined but seems quite normal?!

Maybe it’s just bc I’ve hardly watched her yet!

Packing cubes on the midnight show. Well, I have just watched probably one of the worst presentations ever. Not once did the brand ambassador or presenter open one or show what was inside or how much they hold. I love packaging cubes and this was a very poor presentation. Come on QVC demonstrate your products properly.

Am I being a bit dim here? What's the point of a packing cube? How does that fit more things in the suitcase? Not sure I want to spend the money on this one.

My granddaughter shared my room on holiday in CentreParcs and my daughter gave me her packing cubes of clothes when unpacking cases, easier than a loose pile being transported across the landing. Youngest granddaughter had her toddler clothes quickly sorted and all her extra paraphernalia. My daughter rolls most items up.

Yes, her name is Laura Crombie and I agree she’s a good presenter. I think she was a maternity cover for the squeaky other Laura. I wonder if she’ll do same for pregnant Victoria.

She’s really improved. Did have a habit of saying “for you” at any given opportunity but she’s knocked that on the head and is one of the best now, bless her.

If only Ophelia could learn from her, but, I honestly believe she doesn’t have the vocabulary or intelligence to do the job. I’ve never heard anything useful come out of her mouth.

It's such a shame with the standard of presentations being so variable, same with presenters and guests.
I was so frustrated, not just with the TSV but with the other products. Nothing shown properly and camera work was awful too. On one item the guest was demonstrating a feature but the camera never showed it. You can begin to see why Rurh Langsford directs the camera, and so does Debbie Flint.
I heard the guest has a weaker arm due to injury. At that point some at least of the demo work must surely be taken on by the presenter?
Laura was personable and not annoying, but the standard of the hour with the Mia Tui products overall was awful.
I was put off entirely.

Totally agree. Packing cubes are great for travelling, organising your suitcase, unpacking etc. They are a game changer for holiday packing. Sadly this didn’t come across in the presentation at all.

Absolutely agree. Camera work shocking - all over the place except where it should be. The owner yes had an arm injury, but didn't open anything and never showed the suitcase slip on the back or the zipped slot on the back of the backpack. Then there were other items on display that blocked the view.
Disaster.

The lunchtime show much better with a lady who knows what's she's doing. Camera operators still need to go back to school !

They showed a pile of ratty looking items, saying it would fit into the packing cubes. I was waiting for them to open the cubes so we could actually see what was inside. Not a convincing BA.

Personal opinion but I think since the robotic/remote cameras have been utilised, some of the camera work could only at best be described as shoddy. There often seem to be a time lag where the camera calibrates itself to focus in the item.
