Marks & Spencers Beauty Advent Calender

Did you order one in the end?!

Or anyone else?

The only non-traditional or non-chocolate advent calendar I’ve ever had were reduced Yankee Candle tealight ones my mum gave me for a couple of years.
I really loved them but wouldn’t if I thought she’d paid full price…

However this year I was buying my SIL a fancy long cardigan for her birthday - well over the £35 needed to spend - and I had a crazy moment and added the advent calendar to my basket! 😬

I don’t really know what possessed me..!

The vanity case in navy velour is lovely and the little numbered boxes inside are gorgeous but there are seberwl hair products I’ll never use…

And I got it thinking I could split it up and use some as gifts, but having realised how small several of the sizes are, I’m not actually sure I will be able to, or they’ll only be little extras - so £50 is a lot which I can’t really justify…
Think I’ll be returning.
Better get a move on, it’s December in less than 2 weeks!
I didn’t actually. First break I’ve had from M&S beauty advent calendars for about 7 years. I thought the case was rather nice but the contents were too similar to all the other ones I’ve had. I might have been tempted if I had been buying something in the Clothing/Home ranges to qualify for a calendar but I only buy when I have discounts and I didn’t have any at the time. The calendars did seem to hang around in stores for a while, though. In the past, they have sometimes sold out in just a few days.

Sorry you were disappointed with yours.

A bit late to the party on this thread.
Mr MA has bought me a beauty advent calendar of some sort for the last few years.
The You magazine one, Soap and Glory, Bare Miinerals being a few examples.
This year I told him not to bother as there’s just too much stuff I don’t use.
He was insistent on getting me one of some sort though, so I settled on a Tiptree one.
A little jar of jam or marmalade every morning, on my toast for brekkie. No waste.
I shall request the same next year.

I had a tea one this year. Very nice. Two tea bags every day. From Bird & Blend

I bought my first ever advent calendar this year. The Holland and Barratt one and I`ve loved every single item so far. One item alone is £20 on the Balmonds website ( face serum) and I think I paid around £44 for the calendar. No teeny tiny bits in it, all cruelty free brands and so far I will use every single item and enjoy trying some new brands I`ve never used before. I will be first in the queue to order it again next year.

Never heard of that brand.
Glad you’re enjoying it!

Is it herbal teas/infusions or “proper” tea?!

I got the Pukka tea one last year and enjoyed that. Although several had matcha or green tea in the blends which are not my bag.

I love good quality black teas - esp Chinese…

And useful little jars for afterwards too!

Oh I love Tiptree!

It’s not so far from me (different county) and they have a super cafe and bakery etc there plus a shop with all their products.

Not been able to go for 20 years but my good friend often goes and he gives me Tiptree treats for Christmas and birthday often!

Proper tea and herbal tea.
They have a Boxing Day sale so worth a look then…
I have to say I’m not a tea drinker normally but I do like a cuppa in the afternoon with an audio book and my knitting..
