Just watching the launch of Celebrity Big Brother and I seem to recognise the girl in the ad breaks 'big brother is sponsored by Pink Casino' - looks to me like the Kipling lady, is it her?

I thought the post was about her actual big brother as her sister pop's up on Q with her diet book I thought that he was going to be selling us some sort of fitness equipment.
As I didn't know big brother was still being broadcast. I don't watch much T.V these days .

Why do you think she has let herself down? The ads are rubbish however she is only doing a job and a very well paid one I should think if the ads are shown during the whole CBB production. I can't see where she had let herself down. I would think she is well chuffed to have the work.

I don't know if she's 'let herself down' but she comes across as a classy professional woman on QVC and to see her larking about in these ads seems rather strange to me, not so much because of the BB connection but ads for online casinos always feature airhead/bimbo type women and this is exactly what she's portraying - just surprised she's doing it, but like loveheart says 'money talks' :thinking:

We could possibly see JF applying face creams from the pound shop, Charlie tucked up in bed with his 'Charlie bear' as he seems rather fond of them.

You have just described how many of the QVC female presenters come a across. Idea for a show. QVC does Big Brother maybe.

Oh, I agree about it being a good "gig" as it will undoubtedly be well paid, with royalties, and she doesn't have to do much except look pretty (which is easy for her because she's gorgeous) so no, I don't blame her either, loveheart. However, as Starlight says, she appears ditsy in these ads and it's not how I see her usually. Ah well, it's her choice and I'm sure she knows what she's doing. I don't suppose other work will dry up as a result.

She let herself down more bragging on the lunchtime show about bringing kittens into the UK from Europe in a Kipling bag. I haven't been able to watch her since then.

Yes I know what you mean, it's not the sort of thing that'll get her a BAFTA nomination. She's obviously one of the "celebrity" types that don't care what the job is so long as it gets them on television, doesn't look like she wants to be taken seriously either or wouldn't have taken a role that makes her look silly, in my opinion of course, so fair enough it's her career but I get exactly what you mean Andi.
