It's funny how sample sizes are called "travel" sizes when it comes L'Occitane. :mysmilie_15:

The 10ml are definitely sample sizes. The 30ml are sold separately as travel sizes by L'Occitane online and in shops. Some brands have the even more disingenuous (IMO) "deluxe" sizes which are normally a smaller size.

Something that gives you pleasure doesn't have to be expensive, does it? At present my indulgence is Epsom salts infused with lavender essential oil. Fab for aches, great for skin and wonderful if you get leg cramps... Plus you sleep like a baby! What's not to love? 3 kg bag from the chemist for about £7.

Lavender is extra, but a very little goes a long way.

Oooh, I've been doing this for years after my wonderful - and, sadly, long gone - GP told me to try it for my night-time leg cramps and restless legs. I was always amazed at how well it worked. He also told me to tip a good couple of tablespoons of bicarb in the bath for cystitis. I did learn the hard way to mix both epsom salts and bicarb into hot water to dissolve before putting in the bath, though. It took me a while to realise what had scratched the bottom of the bath :doh:

I've experimented with different oils, but a good lavender is probably my fave and tea tree if I'm just soaking my feet.

Good tip about the bicarbonate! I've always just tried cranberry juice (to drink not in the bath haha!)

I've used Epsom salts for years too as recommended by my consultant. Great way of absorbing magnesium (I take it orally too) and to help muscle pain and cramps. You can buy 10kg (in 2 X 5kg so easier to store!) for about £9 inc p&p on eBay - just make sure it's food or pharmaceutical grade. You can buy organic for a couple more pounds if that's important to you...

I treated myself to a 75ml almond handcream yesterday as that was the one item I wanted. I had just finished the 30ml from an old TSV and was very impressed with it, and it smells like the oil not an almond cake. I bought it in the DHS.... I know!! What was I thinking! How did I manage? I also bought oven gloves in JLP and a top in M&S and do you know, apart from when I knocked one off the stand, there were NO pieces of clothing on the floor anywhere.
