I remember the Liz Earle fashion jewellery. When it comes to jewellery I'd buy in spite of LE or KH having designed the pieces, not because they "designed" them. I'm always happy to see something different so it'll be nice to see what's on offer.

I agree, it might be nice to see something different.
I buy items because I like them and not because of the name on them.
I like quality too

I'm sorry, but i think the LE one is... um... er... reminiscent of a lady's private parts.

There have been some Ottoman designs along the same lines which i find equally off-putting.

I realise that this tells you far more about the state of my mind, than about the jewellery, and I have no wish to put any one else off it. But... Noooooo! (runs screaming for a nice comfortable padded cell)

On a recent Michele Hope show, one of the models was wearing a necklace which the presenter was asking MH about. MH said it was one of her own and when the presenter asked if she was going to bring out a jewellery range, she laughed and said we'll see...

The Liz Earle will be over £100+, as on her jewellery site the items are around that price.

Also it looks like the range that used to be on QVC from the New Zealand women who designed for Lord Of The Rings.

Thank you!

I really like it but not for that price... its only plated SS at the end of the day.

Dear Lord, these people would put their name to a tin of cat food if there was money in it !!!

There is clearly a huge profit margin on jewellery, which means the stuff must be made for pennies, once the marketing and fee to the 'celebrity' has been paid. I really cant see Kelly Hoppen switching between screens, dividing her time between sheets and jewellery, not when there are all those celebrity parties to attend. Nah, it'll be a little bank of designers paid peanuts to churn out 'stuff' with the names of Snowden, Mone, Tova, Lulu, Anne Diamond, Liz Earle and now Hoppen attached to it.

Cynical ? moi ? nah.

It's like these slebs who write books - except they don't... they use ghost writers. They need to introduce us the the ghost designers of all this sleb-branded jewellery.

And while they're at it, they can introduce us to the ghost designers for Yong Kim... (and please, no YK jewellery - given the prices of the clothes, I shudder to imagine what kind of pricetag would be given to any eek pieces YK "designed").

Liz Earle Jewellery - Expensive for gold plating !

I can't believe the price of the new Liz Earle Gold Plated ( silver Vermeil) necklace.
Yes, it looks nice, yes it uses fair trade gold, but £162 +p&p is a ridiculous price for gold plating - I'm sure that sort of design and weight of gold could be done in real gold for that price .
Of course, it's selling very quickly - yeah yeah

i doubt you would get that level of work in that weight in gold with liz earles name on it tbh. if the plating is done well it will last a long time. i like it but not enough to part with that money

It is pretty but there are other designers who well similar styles ... Alex Monroe and Kit Heath come to mind. It also reminds me of the range that used to be on QVC by Kimberley Selwood.

I've vowed not to buy anything else plated.

I

In the same way that there a giant warehouse hanger of imported Chinese sweatshop clothes, where Kim & Co, Diane Gillman, Renée, Together etc visit to point out the items they want their labels sewing into.
