Large Double Begonias TSV 10/3/09

They arrived this morning. Large tubers but not as big as I expected.

Richard Jackson must have really tiny hands.

Probably ideal for holding the very small "dinner plates" that are the same size as most of the flowers he presents!!!

Planting instructions were in direct conflict with what RJ advised on the day

RJ said put in a warm dark place such as an airing cupboard for a few days

Thompson & Morgan's leaflet instructs "place in a cool position, with good light and ventilation" such as a greenhouse or cool window sill

Funny you should say that. He was on with Craig this morning and
they are both the same height. When they were peeping through foliage of some plant or other they looked like a pair of garden gnomes. The only thing missing was a fishing rod.
