If you can't stretch to a Kitchen Aid then Aldi have got a lookey likey in red at £50. My friend does have the real one and I have to say it looks lovely out on the worktop and she uses it a lot and raves about it but it cost more than one of my holidays!

They are a considered purchase & replacing the attachments adds to the expense, however, they are wonderful. I have a Classic that has an ice cream maker & an extra bowl; I use it all the time, even for mashing potatoes. I've been called a Bake Off snob for keeping it on the work surface but it has to stay out all the time because it's too heavy to lift in & out of a cupboard.

I have a kitchenaid, raspberry coloured, I've had mine for several years and would not be without it I use it all the time, it was worth the money. I bought the mince/grinder and use this on a regular basis, although it was a costly addition. :mysmilie_46:

I have a titanium Kenwood chef thats my pride and joy...my daughter wants a kitchen aid and I want to treat her as the prices seem to have gone down a lot and they are more affordable than ever now. she's been a good help to me even though she gets on my nerves sometimes lol

That looks awesome. I'd love one but our tiny cottage has an even tinier kitchen about 2 sq m so there's nowhere to put it out and if you have to hide it there's no point in buying the posh one. If someone was really wanting one for Christmas and you could afford to buy, that would be so nice to see the receiving happiness on Christmas Day :mysmilie_8:

its a great deal when I saw the rubbish deal on QVC I am not buying it from them their customer service is appalling

Everytime I turned on today, there was Craig stuffing his sodding mouth. Clearly he puts himself down for the 'food' shifts, because whenever there is food being offered or cooked, he's there at the front of the queue. You can almost mimic his expression once he shovels it in his mouth !!:down:

The Lakeland one is the 156 whereas Q's one is the 125

Although Lakeland gives free delivery, a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee and unbeatable customer service where they will replace with new before an item is returned if there is a problem. I once ordered an item as the original was showing wear after 2 years daily use...no need they said and replaced it for free!

Not that the Artisan mixer should have any problems but I prefer to be confident in purchasing electrical items.
