Help Support ShoppingTelly:

I keep promising myself a new KH duvet set when the next tsv is on, and haven't done so yet! I'll wait to see the price and colours when you post them, Ian.

Dear Star in the Hood

I had to join shoppingtelly because I wanted to thank you for all your hard work investigating and posting advance info on QVC TSV's. I find it so useful as it means I can try to think about the TSV's sensibly, rather than being bounced by the presenters. Thank you for everything you do I really, really appreciate it. It makes a difference to me and I'm sure to others and so I wanted to let you know that your hard work is worth it.

WOAH!! aww that means an awful lot to me that does & to take time out to register just to say that says a lot to me as well,

that is what i do it for nothing big but to help everyone to give a heads up of what things are so you can think about it without being pressured

Welcome to the forum Buglet. Ditto from me SCW and others who post re upcoming TSV's, OTO's etc, it's so helpful as you say to have time to consider purchases, having time to compare with other websites and balance 'want' with 'need' is always a good thing in my case.
As for the Kelly Hoppen TSV, I quite like the design of this one but still can't justify the likely cost of it, Dunelm bedding does for me!

I cannot justify spending so much on bedding, even if I do spend 9 hours asleep and it is 800 TC. Very nice though.

Celadon looks like a steel grey whereas I'd expect it to be a pale/soft green. It certainly is green in paint. Mind you, KH often says the "silver grey" is more of pale taupe.

I bought the last KH TSV which was also 800 Thread Count and it is super smooth, cool and soft. It definitely needs to be ironed when still slightly damp but my steam press wizzed through the job without too much effort.

This looks really lovely but I can't justify it at the moment. Also I have got enough bedding so don't really need any more.

Looking at the info on QVC, it doesn't look like faux fur to me.:mysmilie_1:

Me neither. Sometimes the Q chooses the colours which are different to those of Kelly. As celadon is a greyish green, perhaps this one has more grey to it. Can't see any measurements for it, but it doesn't look too generous.
It would cost me £132.00, plus postage of I would think £7.95. £140 for a duvet set? We are approaching summer when, hopefully, I will be removing the duvet, to be replaced by a throw. For a superior tc, it is worth the money. Right now, though, I don't really need another set.

Somebody stop me! I had a small £windfall and am suffering with aching joints so I've ordered the celadon! The colour looks really nice in all views online and on air (even though the colour reproduction does vary in the studio and the still photographs they show). I'm now going to turn off the TV and laptop so I don't go on a further spending spree!

Jude, did you order to help your aching joints? Seriously, though, let us know if the difference in quality is evident in 800tc as opposed to NN. I'm sure you'll love it.
