I have never met KJ so I can't comment on her personality or lack of it. Having said that she does appear rather cold and aloof and almost too perfect. I do think it must be annoying to have people constantly badgering you for autographs but these so called celebrities need to remember who got them where they are and who ultimately pays their wages and most of them are grossly over paid IMO.

I think that celebs do have a right to some sort of privacy on the whole - but you can’t court publicity when it suits and then expect privacy when it doesn’t suit.

Amazing how many actors/singers can have both a very very successful career and have a personal life. I am thinking along the lines of the (both) wonderful Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen.

Personally feel if you live as much as is possible in the circumstances, low key life, are fairly strict in what access is given and above all don’t go down the kiss and tell route then it is possible to have both. I also think that the privacy issue is in direct proportion to their actual talent, the less you have the more you have to court publicity.

They get heaps of money for these types of shows so I doubt they care if people laugh at them.

its like michela from yankee candles. a lot of people did not like her presenting style or character but i met her today and she was a hoot, really funny and very very pretty. unless i have met someone i try not to judge.

Very interesting thread. I have not heard the gossip, nor heard her sing, for that matter. But she was co-presenting a documentary on Yesterday (or one of the Discovery channels), I think it was about the Blitz, and as soon as she opened her mouth, I had to switch channels. Just something I couldn't put my finger on. Weird. I feel the same about Michaela Strachan. I was most put out to find I would be unable to watch 'Great British Ghosts', because she was presenting.

I've not heard the gossip either. Where does one hear these things?! I don't read the tabloids or any magazines - I guess that's where it all is?!
