I am thinking of getting my TV wall-mounted. I will bear in mind that I need to have it at eye level.
Yes that is what we have, although I do get moaned at when I dust it because I move it slightlyMy sister and her hubby have gone a step further - their telly is fixed to the wall - on a hinged bracket contraption so they can pull it away from the wall or turn it round slightly, depending where the watcher(s) is(are) sitting. Reminds me of a Travelodge motel room.
Me too Shops love having a TV in my bedroom. its a small one by todays standards 32 inches but I lock my door and escape. I even have Netflix on it for free. Oh and like you its on my chest of drawers. I also have a tv in the kitchen diner on a bracket. And a large Tv in the lounge. All the TV's have outdoor aerials or one in the loft.I’m the opposite I love having a tv in the bedroom, I often take myself upstairs when the husband is watching his sport on a lazy afternoon, I prefer upstairs I find it calmer for some reason, I’ll chill with a good book or put a good documentary on, it’s not on the wall it’s on top the chest of draws. I’ve confessed before that I’ll txt the husband downstairs to bring a cuppa up, I know I know but it saves wear and tear on my legs.
I have a 3D TV in the lounge. Have a nice library of 3D films gosh I forgot about it being 3D lolWe would be lost without the telly in our bedroom. It is a 3d telly, remember those? Not wall mounted, but it sits on top of the fitted stand I made with everything under it, bluray, dvd, virgin box, satellite receiver, gamecube, dreamcast, playstation 1, raspberry pi, mini snes...
I spend most of my time in my bedroom, as it is now just me and Big Booncey, since losing both parents.
I got some extra specs from Amazon they work really well. They do eat batteries though. I have 6 pairs of the things. Usually its Christmas that we watch films. Love the Black Panther in 3D its very very good.Mine is a 3D TV and I have a number of 3D DVDs bought 2nd hand, some of which I haven't even watched yet.
It is always a hassle to get the specs to work, either the battery has gone flat, or it won't make good contact.
