Help Support ShoppingTelly:

I have just bought a pair of UGG boots from a website for under £60. This is my first pair and I am looking forward to getting them, even thought my OH says I can't have them until Xmas. I have seen the UGG boots in the shops for £180 so I thought this was a very good deal!!

(Sorry I still can't get the hang of copying website addresses)

I would love to take advantage of discounted Uggs and Emus but very wary about which sites are legit, as I wouldn't want to get lumbered with fakes.:whew:

I did some checking on UGG Australia website and it highly likely that the website I bought the boots from are fakes!! I checked with Parcelforce and they are coming from China!! I will wait to see if they actually turn up!! I feel such a twat now as I just did not think!!

Don't feel bad it is a lesson learned and you will know what to watch for in future. I hope you can get your money back

So sorry you have been caught out Shopping is fun :-(
You might have to re-think your 'name' :) (sorry couldn't resist !)

As Tia has already said the important thing for you and others to be aware of is that only the official Ugg Australia.com has UGG in the web address.
They have a page where you can double-check suppliers if in doubt (too late for you but other forum members might find this useful)
They do a country by country list and here is the link for the UK

A well known fraudulent site is uggskyonline (ugg in the title !!!!)

Hope this helps as I know in the run up to Christmas ugg mania sets in !
