I cannot colour my hair anymore, it started with the dreaded Menopause.
Just switched over to The Sewing Bee and my hair is exactly the same colour & style as the judge Esme Young. I love it as it is, growing rapidly at the moment though. was thinking of having it cut off next time, but probably won’t.

I used N&E for many many years (hope it hasn’t changed) and loved the glossy condition it left my quite coarse hair. When it no longer covered the grey evenly I swapped to Excellance and like it but over the years found it didn’t condition it so well and the colours were hard to get and not always consistent.

No problems since I decided to go au natural last year. If only I could get it cut. Short it is like a yard brush but as soon as it grows even a bit it goes all wavy and kiss curly turning into horns as they grow, just awful.

As I said I give the conditioner and shampoo you get free with Exellance away to a friend who uses them when she goes away for the weekend. I use a deep conditioner after colouring, Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask after each colour. It is very expensive but, I got it in a set in a Xmas sale for less than half price as the ones you get free with the colouring packs are rubbish.
