I agree Vienna, I think they are economical with the truth re the plus sizing, as nearly all of the models are always a size 16/18 High Street, when their ginormous bust and broad backs seem to be more a size 20 plus. Its noticeable also that the plus size girls seem to be 'large' all over, i.e. face and legs, - this is not true of a lot of plus size ladies. The smaller and taller models all looks the same, but there is only one 'type' of plus size model.
I've always thought this, particularly in magazines when relaying a story of massive weight loss by readers. I am 5'7 a size 20 and just under 15 stone with slim legs and face, so with clever dressing I can look lighter than I am. Invariably these overweight ladies are ALWAYS a size 22 and 20 stone or plus. No way, and looking at the photos they are more of a size 26-30. Most of the stories also don't give the height of the person either, which has a massive bearing on weight and size. A size 20 on a 5'2 looks so much larger than a size 20 on a 5'9 lady.
