Oh dear, Alison has just had the hair 'powder' treatment and her hair looks all weird like JFs - what is this putting powder in your hair theory, I don't like it, Elizabeth 1st did that - have we gone backwards...

I got curious and bought one of these 'miracle volume' powders from the beauty wholesalers a few months back, was only a couple of quid and I had to satisfy my curiosity. They are Awful! They do have a stickiness about them (no matter how much they claim they haven't), a terrible mess to apply and I found it made my scalp horribly itchy. Yes, the effect after its applied is thick, full looking hair, but I was lucky if it lasted 5 minutes before it looked limp, lank and horrible.
