Is it me or is there sarcastic undertones directed towards jf by lulu. As usual lulu not coming across well at all IMO. Tbh don't like her anyway :mysmilie_12:

I have three good reasons not to watch QVC today...we have hours of my least favourite people Lulu, RJ and Craig smarmy Rowe. My money is very safe today.

What on earth has Lulu done to her hair ?
Looks like it hasn't seen a comb for months, a right rat's nest of a do.

I think it looks like a partial wig with her own hair at the front because this morning it is exactly the same as last night !!
Also looking at the lines under her eyes and crows feet it not a good advert for her eye cream is it? I`ve never tried it so can`t comment on her products!

Yes I know its all about selling but the way JF goes on ,shock horror--a wrinkle! We all want to look as good for our ages but honestly the way they go on about ageing is off the radar.
I have some friends going through serious medical treatments at the moment and a wrinkle would be a relief.Just think they should tone things down a bit.

Worrying about wrinkles will give you them. No pot of gloop can stop time. All we can do is keep our skin hydrated.

They play on peoples insecurities, vulnerabilities and gullibility, all mixed in with a load of hype, a few untruths, quite often a hefty price tag and a load of hard sell.

I am having a few extra days off this Easter and OH and I were discussing friends who are in various states of distress and made a bit of a pact that we will give a good days work 9to5 and make a real effort not to bring the stress home with us.

Out shopping today I met a young lad very very disabled and just thought that a few extra pounds around the mid drift and a pair of shoes that hurt would have been pure joy to him and his family.

I just wish I could keep remembering this when we are being bombarded by the media about how we must all be perfect in all aspects of our life.

Well I'm off to Venezuela as I have just read that women there inject silicon to achieve big buttocks. For once I will be au natural.

A new opening for our Lu?

Got any pointers for a country where the Caesarean shelf is venerated? I've got my big comfy pants packed and I'm ready to go!

You really do have a problem with older women Julius, always using very insulting language.

Did you use the same language to describe your mother?

Hello Donna,

I'm not sure where you draw such conclusions from. I most definitely do not have a problem with older women, but I do dislike Lulu, Sarah Shurety and, to a slightly lesser extent, Alison Young. Please do not confuse the particular with the general.

I concur; creams and serums can smooth out the skin, and make any wrinkles appear less defined. Only surgery will get rid of wrinkles and the long term consequences of going down this routeare, imo, hazardous to one's health. I also find the homeopathic effect of my skincare enhances my mood, as the aroma is divine. I certainly don't have a skincare routine to remove all signs of ageing, of which my mum says I have none, rather to keep my skin looking as healthy as it possibly can. Anyone who actually believes that applying a moisturiser will knock 20 years off you, is either optimistic, or gullible.

The only true anti-ageing cream is sunscreen. Compare the skin on the underside of your forearm to that on the back of your hand and seen the difference the sun has made!
I would say Lulu has had her face area tightened, lifted, plumped, buffed and stretched. Alison Young's appearance seems more natural however I'm sure she's had some lesser invasive treatments done - the odd dermal filler here and there.

But are forgetting Alexis from L'Occitane, you constantly make fun of her lisp.
