I agree with you Burlz. Britta filtered water for me. Our tap water tastes like it comes form a fish tank long after the fish have died!! I usually replace by filters after about 6 weeks instead of a month to eek out the pennies. X
 
I recommend filtered water too. You can really notice the difference when making tea (without milk) visually and taste wise.

I don't have milk in my tea, so can taste exactly what the water tastes like and I totally agree. For instance, the water round here tastes like mud and at it's most classic, mud with a sharp hint of chlorine, Brita is the best, we use maxtra, so I don't think we can get generic filters, but we can at least recycle them at specialist recycling points around town.

BTW, the Debbie Flint water was called Pentawater (I think)
