The thing is you can still have "it" as an older woman.It's just a case of moving on and accepting that as a 50 year old you can't wear what you did and behave as you did as a 20 year old.
I think Julia is a lovely attractive woman....but is unable to accept what she is.
She comes across as needy and silly with her flirting and hair flicking and her uber tight tops stretched over her very ample chest.

I think that she looks great really but needs to stop competing with the younger women.
I look at the model Amica,a very lovely looking lady in her mid 40's which is exactly what she looks.She doesn't look younger than she is and doesn't try to,but she seems confident and happy with herself and that in itself is attractive and sexy quality.

I hope so because I've just got to say that I have taken a solemn vow never to watch B&W when JR is on ever ever ever again. I saw half an hour of it last night and had to switch off. JR was sooo full of herself and acting like a girlie and all the " oh we are such good friends and in jokes " were making me feel sick. Also what the hell was Simon wearing? I know JR has lots of fans who love all the banter but to me it's just look at me how well connected I am.
Ok rant over I'm going out into the garden now to enjoy the sun and plant up some more QVC plants.

I think you have hit the nail on the head, it's the fact that everything is false and for show that annoys me, she is so self obsessed. It doesn't have to be like that just because you are on TV, I think Jilly is lovely, she's pretty and natural she doesn't show off all the time. At the end of the day JR is a shopping telly presenter, whoopy doo.

I like Julia but do wish she wouldn't keep sqeezing into clothes that don't fit properly. Did anyone see her last night in that 'Attitudes' top? She definitely needed a bigger size as her bra was showing all the time under her arm - not a pretty sight.

I've a feeling this is why we're inclined to bitch about them, it's a way of bringing them back to earth. Camera or no camera, a shop assistant is still a shop assistant. Its just that these shop assistants are mostly failed (or occasionally retired) showbizzy types. If they concentrated on their jobs a little more, and less on competing with one another, we could get to quite like and respect them.

I have to say I agree with you there, Lola Rose. I thought the top was one of the few which actually suited her hooooge bosom, and I liked her hair too. So often she looks 'blousy' and a bit 'mutton' but I thought she looked good on that show.

Well, I do agree with you in essence - some of them *do* act as though they are massive stars, when in reality all they are doing is flogging tat:20:, but for someone like Catherine it really probably has been like winning the lottery, she was a single mum working as a dental nurse and got a lucky break as a guest presenter, she must be earning much better money now to support her and her children - so good luck to her:1:
