I've just noticed that Ideal World has launched a premium rate text service for customers to use to send them comments. Each message costs 25p + one standard network message charge.
Ideal World is probably pocketing at least 10p for each text message they receive.
I don't know about anyone else, but it seems deeply wrong for a company to charge customers to send them feedback in this way. I know, I know... you can email them for free (when it works), but that's not really the point.
Tip for Ideal World: you should consider changing your company slogan. I don't consider fleecing family and friends to be fun.
